I suggest Apple ...

allow apps to add tracks to the user's music library

The MediaPlayer framework allows apps to browse the user's music library and play tracks from it, but it's read-only: there's no way to add tracks. Apple should add this functionality (which already exists on Mac OS by way of iTunes' AppleScript API.)

This will make it possible for music vendors like Amazon and eMusic to offer apps for purchasing music. It will also enable apps that can do things like wirelessly sync the iPhone's music library with the user's Mac or PC.

Jens, I agree whole-heartedly. As an indie publisher of music, I'd love to write an apps that allow music exchange. Already possible on OS X and through various routes, no need to prevent us from exchanging music.
